Kansas vs Arizona -4.5 O/U 56.5

🏈 Game Overview

  • Date & Time: Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. MST
  • Location: Arizona Stadium, Tucson, AZ
  • Broadcast: ESPN2

🔥 Stakes Are High

  • Kansas Jayhawks (5-4, 3-3 Big 12): One win away from bowl eligibility. Coming off a 38-21 win over Oklahoma State, but facing a tough road stretch ahead.
  • Arizona Wildcats (5-4, 2-3 Big 12): Also seeking their sixth win. Just crushed Colorado 52-17 and have been strong at home this season.

📊 Key Matchup Insights

  • Offensive Firepower: Both teams are capable of lighting up the scoreboard. Kansas needs to hit at least 35–40 points and 400+ total yards to stay competitive.
  • Defensive Edge: Arizona has shown more consistency on defense, especially at home. Kansas’ defense has struggled, so the Jayhawks must rely on offensive tempo.
  • Home Field Advantage: Arizona has been formidable at home, including a double-overtime thriller against BYU and a win over Kansas State.

🔮 Prediction & Odds

  • Spread: Arizona favored by 6 points
  • Moneyline: Arizona -210, Kansas +170
  • Over/Under: 56.5 points

🧠 X-Factors

  • Kansas QB Play: The Jayhawks need a clean, explosive performance from their quarterback to keep pace.
  • Arizona’s Momentum: After a dominant win and with bowl eligibility in sight, the Wildcats are riding high.

Prediction:

  • Feels like a great college basketball matchup!   It’s still football season baby!  This is an underrated game out in the desert.
  • A lot of people saw the Wildcats blow the doors off of the Buffalos last weekend.   I was mistakenly on the wrong side of that.
  • Most people have the conclusion that Colorado has given up on their season.   Well I watched that game, and what I saw more was a dominant and Crisp Wildcat offense that was playing with great poise and execution.
  • The Jayhawks have had some opportunities this year to look competent, but whenever they went up in class, this team got blown out.
  • Both of the offenses in this game are quite solid.   I am not worried about that aspect of the game.  What worries me is that Kansas’s defense is a sieve ranking 83rd in opponent yards per play and 104th in defensive EPA.
  • One very underrated aspect of the wildcats has been their defense.  The Cats rank 21st in defensive success rate and a massive 12th in defensive opponent pass EPA.   They only allow 4.37 yards per play ranking 8th in the nation.   Arizona also boasts a net 1.69 yards per play to Kansas only at .39.
  •  Watch out for these Cats.   I see an easy cover in Tucson.

Arizona -4.5 – 2.5 stars

LSU vs Alabama -10.5 O/U 49.5

  • This may be the most exciting game of the weekend.
  • Coach Brian Kelly and his fake accent has now been kicked out of Baton Rouge and this LSU Tigers team can exhale.
  • I feel that Alabama has been pretty fortunate this season.   Lots of schenanigans in the Tennessee and South Carolina games.   The Missouri win didn’t age all that well either.
  • Both teams have top 6 strength of schedule according to Sagarin.
  • LSU has a .55 net yards per play to Alabama at .8.  That isn’t much of a difference if you ask me.
  • I also do not think that this Bama defense has been at all impressive.
  • I have to go with te numbers and the coach fired bump here and bet the Tigers.  This game seems to always be pretty close, and I do not think Bama should be laying north of a touchdown.

LSU +10.5 – 2 stars

College Football Week 10 Recap and Week 11 Picks by Andrew

Sep 18, 2021; Morgantown, West Virginia, USA; West Virginia Mountaineers cornerbacks Jackie Matthews (3) and Nicktroy Fortune (11) celebrate after a stop late in the fourth quarter against the Virginia Tech Hokies at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Ben Queen-USA TODAY Sports

Last week was BRUTAL!! My record fell to 11-10 after a 1-3 week and honestly we caught a little break with SDSU even though they were clearly the right side. Going into the final few weeks we need to start looking at teams that are gaining momentum to finish the year strong and what teams have players talking to their agents about transfer portal destinations. As much as teams are looking to carry momentum into the post season I am too, as we look to Week 11.

  • Boston College Golden Eagles (+10.5) vs Southern Methodist Mustangs (12:00PM/EST): A few weeks ago on the podcast I believe we established BC stands for booty cheeks. Well hopefully the booty cheeks will clap back. Boston College has covered two games in a row which is no moral victory for the Eagles but, a win for bettors. They now host SMU in a let down spot after last weeks huge upset against Miami and are traveling across the country. SMU also has the honor of being the opponent for Boston College’s annual red bandana game which historically has been a get-up spot for the Eagles. The Eagles have been getting healthier and with the chips stacked in their favor from a situational standpoint I like them getting over 10.
  • West Virginia Mountaineers (-6) vs Colorado Buffaloes (12:00PM/EST): Talk about two teams going in different directions. West Virginia may be in a bit of a let down spot here but, the Buffaloes look like they have thrown in the towel. Out of desperation the Buffaloes are turning to freshman Juju Lewis to ignite a spark but, it might be too little too late. I like what I have seen from freshman Scotty Fox for the Mountaineers the last few weeks and I certainly like fading freshmen in their first road start in hostile road environments. The Buffaloes have been blown out in their last few games and if those performances are any indication I am not sure how they get up to keep this one within a touchdown. Take me home Country Road!
  • Mississippi State Bulldogs (+9.5) vs Georgia Bulldogs (12:00PM/EST): We are gong in on the morning slate Saturday morning. Mississippi State plays all home games to one score. How they have not won one is baffling to me! They get another shot at an SEC favorite here and I do not see how they do not keep it close, unless the SEC refs wanna help their boy Kirby Smart out. Hail State is catching Georgia in a sandwich spot fresh off Florida with Texas on deck, Hail State has to win one of these right? I do not know if they pull it off but, Georgia likes to keep ’em close which has been a theme down in Starkvegas all year. Give me some more cowbell.

NFL Week 10 Free Play – Back The Bucs for Bucks

We’re 37-31 +2.62 Units in the NFL as we pass the halfway point in the season. Getting killed on teasers, but straight plays have been very good to us so far. I’ve got one to share with y’all this weekend as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2) play host to the New England Patriots (7-2) on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET.

Most books show current lines having Tampa -2.5 and the total sitting at 48. Moneyline has Tampa -145 with the Pats +125.

Tampa has been ravaged by injuries, but they are coming off the BYE week and should get a little healthier especially Baker Mayfield getting an extra week to nurse his oblique and knee issues. Bucky Irving and Chris Goodwin will still be out this week. Tampa has been just as injured in my opinion as San Francisco (except at QB) and been able to overcome it for the most part. The O-line has been the most trouble, and Detroit was able to exploit that in week 7 as they generated plenty of pressure, even when just rushing four which was their primary attack. This made things difficult on the injured Bucs receiving core as they struggled to get anything going downfield. They also struggled to generate a ton of movement against a Saints unit leading into the BYE. It’s very possible RT Luke Goedeke returns as he was a limited participant in practice so far this week. Guard Ben Bredeson also practiced which is a good sign they could both be in the lineup on Sunday. This would be the first game they have their projected starting offensive tackles for the season on the field at the same time which should be a huge boost for protection for Baker.

It looks like New England has found they’re starting QB for the future as Drake Maye has been very efficient thus far throwing 17 TDs to only 4 INTs with a 74.1 completion percentage. He has been able to spread the targets around and really opened up an offense that was a concern coming into the year. With that success however there have been some drive killing sacks the Maye has taken along the way. Only the Titans have taken more sacks this season the Drake Maye and the Pats. Tampa Bay is 6th in the NFL generating 3.1 sacks per contest.

Let’s break it down quick as to why I like the Bucs.

Getting healthy is reason #1, but competition played so far is another big reason to believe in the Bucs at this line under a field goal. Looking at competition can get you into trouble as match-ups are key, but there’s some glaring differences here that are too big to not take into account. The Pats have wins over the Dolphins (2-7), Carolina (5-4, and I don’t believe in that team at all even with their record), Bills (6-2), Saints (1-8), Titans (1-8), Browns (2-6), and Falcons (3-5). Losses coming against the Raiders (2-6) and Steelers (5-3). Of those teams only the Falcons and Bills have a scoring defense that ranks in the top half of the league, and only the Bills and Steelers have a scoring offense in the top half of the league. All seven of their other opponents rank 26th-32nd in scoring offense. Look at that again….7 opponents rank in the bottom seven of scoring offense in the league.

The Bucs schedule includes wins over the Falcons (3-5), Texans (3-5), Jets (1-7), Seahawks (6-2), 49ers (6-3) and Saints (1-8), with losses against the Eagles (6-2), and Lions (5-3). While the offensive fire power of their opponents isn’t much different, they’ve shown the ability to come out and score against some the top defenses in the league with only the game against the Lions being the real outlier.

With the Bucs getting healthier especially at OL, and Drake Maye’s inability to get rid of the ball quickly at time I really look for the Bucs defense to step up here and cause lots of problems for the young Patriots signal caller. Combine that with the Pats facing a decent offense for the first time in over a month and my position here is on Tampa Bay.

Official Play: Tampa Bay -2.5 2 Units.

NFL Week 10 Betting Spots

Let Down Spots:

  • The Vikings could be a little soft hosting the Ravens after the big Lions win.
  • The Steelers could let down at LA Chargers after beating the Colts.
  • The Panthers could soften up hosting New Orleans after beating the Packers.  Division game  though…

Get Up Spots:

  • The Lions have playoff revenge on the mind at Washington.
  • The Cardinals could spoil things for the Seahawks if they are motivated.
  • The Rams will want revenge at the 49ers.

Look Ahead Spots:

  • The Bears could look past the Giants to the Vikings.
  • The Steelers could ignore the Chargers and look for revenge hosting the Bengals.
  • The Seahawks could look past the Cardinals to the Rams.
  • The Broncos could not take the Raiders seriously and look to the Chiefs.

Short Week:

  • The Cardinals after Monday night at the Seahawks.

Long Week:

  • The Ravens will have extra rest from Thursday night at the Vikings.
  • The Dolphins have extra rest from Thursday hosting the Bills.
  • The Buccaneers off the bye hosting the Patriots.
  • The Eagles off the bye at the Packers.

NFL Week 9 Misleading Final Scores

  • The Ravens only out-gained the Dolphins 338 to 332 yet won 28-7.   A 2-0 turnover ratio and bad third down efficiency 2/12 killed the fins.
  • The Colts out-gained the Steelers 368 to 225 yet lost 27-20.   A horrible 6-1 Daniel Jones turnover ratio killed the ponies.
  • The Chargers out-gained the Titans 343 to 206 yet only won 27-20.  A bad pick 6 got the Bolts.
  • The Packers out-gained the Panthers 369 to 265 yet lost 16-13.   Lots of wind, injuries and poor red zone got the Greens.
  • The Lions yards were mainly garbage time.

NHL Picks & Props – November 5th, 2025

Tonight’s NHL slate might be smaller, with only five games on the schedule, but that doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of value on the board. Whether you’re a seasoned bettor or new to NHL wagering, there are plenty of ways to find an edge across moneylines, puck lines, and player props. With teams continuing to establish their early-season identity, let’s break down the top matchups and highlight some of the best bets for Wednesday night’s action.

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Calgary Flames

Nazem Kadri over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+115) – DraftKings

Nazem Kadri will skate in his 1,000th career NHL game tonight, a milestone he’s looking forward to celebrating with family and friends in attendance. “It’s exciting, for sure,” Kadri said earlier this week. “I’ve got lots of friends and family coming into town, so being able to share it with them means a lot.”

Kadri has picked up steam after a slow start to the season. He has recorded over 3.5 shots on goal in four of his last five games while averaging 3.6 shots on goal and 7.6 shot attempts during that span.

This is a great matchup for Kadri to keep firing. The Blue Jackets rank 32nd in the NHL in shots against per game at 34.0 and have allowed the most shots on goal to forwards this season, giving up an average of 24.0 per game.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Vancouver Canucks

Quinn Hughes over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-115) – FanDuel

After missing four games with a lower-body injury, Quinn Hughes made his return Monday and didn’t miss a beat. He logged more than 28 minutes of ice time and tallied six shots on goal on nine attempts. With Vancouver still dealing with injuries up front, Hughes continues to take on a major offensive role.

The matchup is favorable, as the Blackhawks have allowed the most shots on goal to defensemen this season. Hughes’ shooting volume and ice time make him a strong play to go over his 2.5 shots on goal line once again.

Andre Burakovsky 1st Period Player 1+ Shots on Goal (+134) – DraftKings

Andre Burakovsky over 1.5 Shots on Goal (-106) – FanDuel

Chicago has stumbled on its six-game road trip, going 0-2-1 so far, but Andre Burakovsky has been one of the few bright spots. He’s on a three-game goal streak with six points over his last four games and has shown a noticeable uptick in shot volume, recording 3, 6, and 10 shot attempts in his last three games.

Burakovsky has also been more productive on the road, covering his 1.5 SOG line in four of six games away from home. After saying, “We need to take command and set the tone ourselves. We can’t come out and have slow starts,” expect him to come out firing early. Vancouver ranks 24th in shots against per game (30.1) and 9th in shots allowed to forwards, both favorable for this look.

San Jose Sharks @ Seattle Kraken

Seattle Kraken Moneyline (3 Way) (Excl OT) (-115) – DraftKings

Brandon Montour over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-142) – DraftKings

Brandon Montour has been a steady producer in the shots department this season. He’s gone over 2.5 shots on goal in six of eight games while averaging 3.1 shots on goal and 6.1 shot attempts per game. Montour’s home splits are particularly strong, as he’s hit this number in five of six games at Climate Pledge Arena.

The Sharks continue to rank among the league’s worst defensive teams, sitting 30th in shots against per game at 31.6 and allowing the fifth-most shots on goal to defensemen.

Backing Montour to stay active offensively and the Kraken to secure a win in regulation makes sense given the matchup and both teams’ early-season form.
