Rob Vinciletti: Tuesday MLB Totals System Play Oakland at Houston

Tuesday card has an NBA Platinum Supreme Total, The N.L. West Game of the Month in bases and our Euro 2020 Soccer Play the Year in Afternoon action. MLB Comp play below.

The MLB Comp Play is on the Under 8.5 runs in the Oakland at Houston game at 8:10 eastern. This game fits a Powerful totals system that plays under for home favorites like Houston that are off a 1 run road favored loss, vs an opponent like Oakland off a 1 run home loss. These games have gone under all but once since 2004. Valdez for Houston has a solid 2.18 Era on the Year and Bassitt for Oakland has an Era of 3.04 and has been solid of late. Oakland has played under in 4 of 5 vs a lefty and 5 of 6 after scoring 2 or less runs. Houston has gone under the total in 4 of the last 5 off a win. Look for this game to stay under the total. On Tuesday a Huge card is up with an NBA Platinum Supreme Totals Play in the EURO 2020 Play of the Year along with MLB Headliners including the 100% N.L. West Game of the Month and an early Wimbledon Play in Tennis. See us on facebook to Jump on and cash out all day and night. For the MLB Comp Play. Play Oakland and Houston under 8.5 runs. MLB Picks and Predictions – July 5, 2021

Tigers players working out before the game.

I don’t know too many sports bettors who had an exceptional week in MLB meeting the last 7 days and I’m definitely one of them. Dusting ourselves off and back for more– here are 3 plays I like today. Let’s win!

Giants -1.5 (-105), 1.5 units: Two organizations going in opposite directions, one run superbly well while the other seems to be regressing by the week, and I have a first bet I really like today. NL Cy Young and MVP contender Kevin Gausman (1.68 ERA, 0.81 WHIP over 101.2 innings) leads the 53-30, 1st place Giants into Monday evening in an early game against the visiting Cardinals, who have now lost 9 of their last 14 contests and are 4th in the NL Central standings. Gausman needs no introduction. He’s deserving of his MVP candidacy and has the numbers to prove it, boasting a 2.71 xERA, 2.66 FIP, an LOB rate of 86.4% and still limiting hitters to only 0.71 HR/9 innings. The Giants are better at home and in games where the Cardinals start Kwang Hyun Kim (3.79 ERA, 1.35 WHIP over 59.1 innings) on the road, they’re only 2-4 on the season. I trust the Giants to dominate this contest and keep their momentum going.

Mets (+112),1 unit: This is a really sneaky line and that’s why I’m taking the Mets. Brewers’ ace Brandon Woodruff (1.78 ERA, 0.78 WHIP over 101 innings) is on the mound today and will rival Mets’ young gun Tylor Megill, who in only 2 starts this year has looked decent. He allowed 2 runs in one showing and 3 in another, both against the big-hitting Braves. According to FanGraphs, “he’s getting by with a good slider (21% SwStr%, 57% GB%) and change (28% SwStr%, 50% GB%).” While there’s still plenty unknown for New York’s arm today, it’s strange that Woodruff is only bringing a -125 value for the visiting Brewers. Shouldn’t it be more with a Cy Young candidate and his elite profile (he’s 3rd overall in ERA and 2nd overall in WHIP among major league pitchers)? Both of these teams sit at the top of their respective divisions but I know plenty of sharp baseball minds that expect Milwaukee to experience some negative regression in the coming months. The same can be said for New York, but at least they’re at home and in a more contentious division. Wins matter more. I’ll take the Mets in an upset.

Tigers (+143), 1 unit: This is another number play — the Rangers don’t deserve a -157 price here. Wily Peralta won’t strike fear into his opponents but the veteran pitcher has a solid profile– 3.21 ERA, 75.8% LOB rate, .190 BABIP, and has quickly earned his stripes after receiving a triple-A contract for Detroit this season. He’ll take on a Texas offense that’s an inconsistent as it gets. The Rangers are in the bottom half and often the bottom quadrant in most batting categories. Kolby Allard (TX- 3.46 ERA, 1.08 WHIP over 52 innings) has had some nice starts lately but the numbers may be deceiving. His “slightly below average swing and miss rate might expose some cracks. A 22-to-4 K-to-BB ratio in his last five starts looks impressive but is not likely sustainable based on his ability to induce a swing and miss in the zone.” (courtesy of www.sportswagers.ca) The Tigers have been streaking lately due to disciplined execution and exceptional in-game adjustments. They’ve recently won series against the White Sox and Indians and tied their series 2-2 with the Astros. I’m buying into it. The price on Detroit is too good to pass and the premium you have to pay for a subpar Rangers’ team is absurd. I’ll take the dog.

The MLB Comp Play for Sunday is on the LA. Angels on the run line at 4:10 eastern. LA has won 8 of 9 in game 3 of a series and 11 of 13 vs a Pitcher with a WHIP of more than 1.25. They are also 3-7 in the last 10 here. Eshelman has a 6+ Era compared to 3.89 Era posted by Sandoval. MLB 7/3/21 Saturday Super-Plays – Sports Wagering

Marlins vs Braves -118 O/U 9

Miami’s ace is taking the mound tonight in Sandy Alcantara who has a solid 3.59 FIP and a great 1.07 WHIP over 106 innings.  Kyle Muller is starting tonight for the Braves who has a very nice 1.76 FIP but only over 10 innings.  Muller’s AAA numbers are much higher at 5.15 FIP and I think that those numbers are closer to what he actually is.   The Brave’s advantage today is that they are the better hitting team ranking number 12 in wRC+ to Miami’s 23rd respectively, but Miami’s bullpen has been red hot ranking number 1 in WAR at 3.2 and number 1 in FIP at an amazing 3.39.  Due to this, and Alcantara pitching, I think Miami has more than a decent shot to win this at + money.

Marlins +112 – 1.5 stars

Astros vs Indians +146 O/U 10

Well this is a pretty high total for a Cleveland game and the reason behind it is that they have had some great baserunning.  They rank dead last is LOB and they are 27th in wRC+.  Regression is due for this +.500 team at some point.  Houston is the best hitting team out there and the reason that this total is so high.  They also have the much better pitcher in Jake Odorizzi who commands a 3.7 FIP compared to Eli Morgan at 6.71.  Don’t over think this.  Take Houston 1st 5 at -170.   The only think that could hurt this Astros team is their bullpen.

Houston 1st 5 -170 – 2 stars

Rob Vinciletti: Saturday MLB Matinee Power Play

Saturday card has the 100% Copa America Soccer Side of the Year, the 26-2 NBA 6* Totals system, a Wimbledon Wipeout and a Powerful MLB Card with 100% Diamond Cutter Blowout System Headlining. Afternoon MLB Comp Play below.

The MLB Comp play is on the Chicago Whitesox at 4:10 eastern. Chicago cashed for us on Friday and we will back them again today as they have won the last 6 here and are on a 33-7 run vs leftys and a 43-14 long term vs losing teams. Keuchel starts today and he went 6 innings allowing 1 earned run this year vs Detroit and he has better overall numbers than Skubal for Detroit. In fact Skubal has allowed 5 runs in 11 innings vs the Sox this year and it wont help him that this is his 3rd start against them in less than a month. Detroit is a lousy 19-59 at home vs winning teams long term. Look for Chicago to take this one. On Saturday another big card is up and led by the rare 6* NBA 26-2 Totals system, a Big MLB Perfect system Blowout and our Copa America Soccer Play of the Year, there is also a Wimbledon Wipeout in Tennis. Jump on now and cash out all day and night. See us on Facebook to jump on. For the MLB Comp Play. Go with the Whitesox. Rob V- Golden Contender Sports.

MLB Free Premium Picks and Analysis for Friday July 2nd

The Chicago Cubs travel to Cincinnati where they will they will open up a three-game set with the Reds Friday night. In the season series, each team has won three meetings. Chicago dropped their sixth straight game as they were swept in Milwaukee by the NL Central-leading Brewers.  Righty Alec Mills is will make his 17th appearance and fifth start of the year for the Cubs. He comes in 3-1 with a 5.11 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP across 37 innings of work this season. Veteran righty Sonny Gray is on the mound to make his 11th start of the year for the Reds in this contest. He comes in 1-4 with a 3.42 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP over 50 innings of work on the year. I love this pitching matchup.  Sonny Gray has pitched well at home and has been impressive overall in the past 2 months.  Alec Mills, however, is horrible on the road owning a 7.40 ERA and 1.84 WHIP in 20.2 innings pitched this season.

In the past month, Cincinnati owns the 4th best wOBA vs righties in the league while the Cubbies rank 29th in that span.  In addition to that, the Reds are scoring a 2nd best 3.60 runs in the first 5 innings at home this season whereas the Cubs are scoring just over 2 runs on the road.

Take the Reds F5 -0.5 (4% Premium Pick)

The Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays play the first game of a three-game series at Toronto’s temporary home of Sahlen Field in Buffalo, N.Y., Friday. Rays rookie right-hander Luis Patino will get the ball in game 1.  The prize from the Blake Snell trade owns a 3.60 ERA and 1.07 WHIP this season.  Blue Jays will throw out another rookie, righty Alek Manoah, who has a 3.34 ERA and 1.11 WHIP across 29.2 innings pitched this season

In the past month, the Blue Jays own the 3rd best wOBA vs righties in the league and they have been even better overall in the past week.  Tampa Bay’s bats have cooled off this summer as they are hitting .234 in the past 30 days which is good for 24th in the MLB.  The Rays bullpen has been excellent all season and the Jays pen has been great as of late.  The Blue Jays lead the league with 3.83 runs in the first 5 innings at home and they will be facing a team that usually scores most of their runs in the 2nd half of the game.

Take the Blue Jays F5 -130 (3% Premium Pick)

The Baltimore Orioles are on the road as they kick off a three-game set with the Los Angeles Angels Friday night. Baltimore struggled for most of June but capped the month by sweeping a three-game set from Houston on the road after prevailing Wednesday. Lefty Keegan Akin is on the mound for the Orioles in this contest as he makes his 11th appearance and seventh start of the year. He comes in 0-4 with a 7.11 ERA and a 1.61 WHIP over 38 innings of action on the season.  Righty Griffin Canning gets the nod for the Angels and will be making his 13th start of the season. He comes with a 4.95 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP over 60 innings of work.

The Angels lead the league in wOBA and homeruns vs lefties in the past month while the Orioles are in the bottom 3rd of the MLB.  The halos average 3.10 runs at home in the first 5 innings while their opposition averages almost one run less at 2.23 on the road.

Take the Angels F5 -0.5 (2% Premium Pick)
