I knew going in that there’s too many horses I like and think can win this thing to be tying up a lot of money betting win tickets. Originally my plan was to dutch some win tickets up with some longer shots the 14 Potente, 15 Emerging Market and 20 Fulleffort. With the 20 getting scratched and now one of the favorites the 9 The Puma also getting taken off the board it has dropped the odds too low for me on 15 Emerging Market to put into a win ticket. To me the only one I am still considering now on a Win/Place/Show ticket is the 14 Potente.
What I have put in is what I feel are a few solid bets. An Exacta box which features four horses and a pair of Trifecta Key Boxes with the two horses I feel have the best chances of hitting the board. I will likely stick a small Superfecta Combo in as well closer to race time.
