  • The Buccaneers out-gained the Saints 301 to 260 yet lost 30-24.  Equal turnovers, but poor red zone got the Bucs.
  • The Browns out-gained the Titans 412 to 292 yet lost 31-29.   A 2-1 turnover ratio and poor special teams got the Brownies.
  • The Ravens out-gained the Steelers 420 to 318 yet lost 27-22.  A 1-0 turnover ratio and poor quarterback play got the Birds.
  • The Cowboys out-gained the Lions 417 to 408 yet lost 44-30.  A terrible 3-0 turnover ratio killed Dem Boys.
  • The Chiefs out-gained the Texans 274 to 268 yet lost 20-10.  A 3-0 turnover ratio smoked the swifties.

  • Boise State only out-gained UNLV 460 to 409 yet won 38-21.  A 1-0 turnover ratio, poor coaching and nine penalties got the Rebels.

Key Injuries:

  • WR Ceedee Lamb had a concussion last Thursday and is day to day.
  • RB Keaton Mitchell hurt his ankle for the Ravens.
  • TE David Njoku hurt his knee.
  • QB Daniel Jones tore his Achilles and is out for the season.
  • QB Riley Leonard is also banged up with a knee injury.
  • QB Geno Smith suffered a shoulder injury but who the heck knows if it’s also his poor play.
  • RB De’Von Achane didn’t return but should be ready for next week.
  • TE Darnell Washington had a concussion against the Ravens.
  • QB Jayden Daniels hurt his elbow against the Vikings.
  • QB Tyrod Taylor left with an injury.
  • TE Zach Ertz suffered an ACL injury as well against the Vikings.

Waiver Wire:

  • QB Riley Leonard for the Jones injury is one.
  • QB Anthony Richardson as well if you think there is a chance.
  • QB Marcus Mariota for the Daniels injury.
  • TE John Bates for the Ertz injury.
  • TE Harold Fannin Jr will get more targets if Njoku is out.
  • QB Kenny Pickett may take over soon for Geno Smith.
  • RB Rasheen Ali for the Mitchell industry will get a look.

  • I honestly do not understand this line.  How many points are we really giving the Joe Burrow from Joe Flacco upgrade.
  • The Bills are still a serious contender and top three in most power ratings.   They rank 4th in offensive EPA to the Bengals ranking 25th.
  • The Bills defense, while not great still ranks 14th in EPA to the Bengals at dead last.
  • Both team’s can run the ball well, and both teams are weak against the run in defense, but during a snow storm, I do not think that the Bills will respect the pass all that much.
  • The Bengals won’t be able to throw the ball and that is where they can get smoked here.  Lay it with the Bills.
