🔮 Wisconsin vs. Minnesota — Prediction

  • This is always a great rivalry in college sports.
  • The Badgers haven’t been a great team this season until last weekend when they upset number 1 (kenpom) Michigan in a shoot out in Ann Arbor.
  • There is no way that I can bet on the Badgers after a performance like that as they are in let down City.
  • The Gophers may licking their chops in looking for an upset, but it’s not like they have been that great coming off of a rough home loss to USC in overtime.
  • One thing that I can count on is the gophers to slow down the pace.  This team ranks 358th on Kenpom in average possession length.
  • I expect the Badgers to be a bit cold coming off of the big win against Michigan.   I am gonna look toward the under in this game as there are many ways that it could hit.

Basic Stats:

Key Stats:   It is clear that Ole Miss has a glaring weakness, and that is their opponent rushing success rate ranking 104th.  We saw Georgia run up and down the field on them, yet got away from the run in a losing effort.   The big thing for me in this handicap is that Ole Miss has the biggest wildcard in the playoffs in quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.   He singlehandedly won the Sugar Bowl game for the Rebs, and I cannot discount that.  I also wonder if there is a real coaching advantage for the Cane’s as Mario Cristobal has blown some big games in the past.   Rebels coach Pete Golding has his kids motivated.  In theory, Miami should just run the ball, and run some more, but we did see the Rebels slow Georgia’s run game down some in the second half.  I think that the back door could be wide open for a motivated Ole Miss team, and there is a chance that they are the ones with the lead towards the end, but Miami and Carson Beck do have the rushing attack and the experience at quarterback to finish out the game.   I lean a little Miami ML and lean the points to take for Ole Miss.

Net Yards Per Play:  Oregon +.15

Basic Stats:

Key Stats:  This really should be the championship game as these are the best two teams left in the playoffs.   The best unit on the field just might be Indiana’s defense ranking 5th in success rate and 7th in EPA.   Oregon’s defense is the weakness, but I do give their offense a slight edge over Indiana’s offense mainly due to their creativity.  My biggest question is how can we really credit Indiana for blowing out a very overrated Alabama team?  This gives us value on the line.  My number on this game is Indiana -3.  I think that they probably win this game, but four points is too much and worth a bet on the Ducks.  Can’t wait for this game!

NFL Week 18 Sunday Fun-day Play – Browns vs Bengals – Sports Betting

Browns vs Bengals -7.5 O/U 46.5

🏈 Browns vs. Bengals: Week 18 Game Preview

Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026 – Paycor Stadium, Cincinnati Sources:

🔥 Big Picture

Neither team is headed to the postseason, but the game is far from meaningless.

  • Cincinnati (6–10) is trying to close the year on a three‑game winning streak behind a suddenly explosive offense.
  • Cleveland (4–12) is playing for pride—and possibly for jobs. Reports suggest the outcome could influence the futures of head coach Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry.

🎯 Key Storylines

1. Joe Burrow’s late‑season surge

Burrow has thrown for 300+ yards in back‑to‑back blowout wins, looking the best he has all year behind what analysts call the strongest offensive line of his Bengals tenure.

  • Last week: 24/31, 305 yards, 2 TDs
  • Cincinnati’s offense is humming, and Ja’Marr Chase continues to stack historic numbers in his fifth season.

2. Myles Garrett chasing NFL history

Garrett enters the game with 22 sacks, needing one to break the single‑season record held by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt.

  • He has sacked Burrow 11 times, tied for the most of any QB he’s faced.
  • Expect this matchup to be a focal point of the broadcast.

3. Browns’ offense: steady but limited

Cleveland has shown improvement with rookie QB Shedeur Sanders, who helped them grind out a 13–6 win over Pittsburgh last week. But the offense remains inconsistent, and that’s a major reason oddsmakers expect a low‑scoring game.

📊 Key Stats for Browns vs. Bengals

(All stats sourced from the articles in the search results.)

🔥 Team Records & Trends

  • Bengals: 6–10 on the season
  • Browns: 4–12 on the season
  • Cincinnati has won 4 straight vs. Cleveland, including 17–16 in Week 1
  • Cleveland is coming off a 13–6 win over Pittsburgh

🏈 Joe Burrow Stats

From last week vs. Arizona:

  • 24/31 passing (77.4%)
  • 305 yards
  • 2 TDs

Season prop trends:

  • Prop line this week: 244.5 passing yards
  • Has exceeded that number 4 of 7 games this season
  • Season average: 224.7 yards/game

🧨 Ja’Marr Chase Stats

Last game:

  • 7 catches, 60 yards, 2 TDs

🐅 Chase Brown (Bengals RB)

Last game:

  • 22 carries, 101 yards, 2 TDs
  • 3 catches, 40 yards

🛡️ Myles Garrett Stats

  • 22 sacks on the season
  • Needs 1 sack to break the NFL single‑season record (22.5)
  • Has sacked Joe Burrow 11 times, tied for the most of any QB he’s faced

🧱 Shedeur Sanders (Browns QB)

Season averages:

  • 184.1 passing yards/game
  • Over/under this week: 194.5 yards
  • Has gone over that number 2 times in 7 games

    Category Bengals Browns
    Head‑to‑Head (Last 5 Years) 7 wins 3 wins
Most Recent Meeting Won 17–16 (Sep 7, 2025) Lost 16–17
    2025 Season Record 6–10 4–12
Points Per Game (2025) 24.8 (12th NFL) ? (Not provided in search results)
    Opponent PPG Allowed 29.5 (31st NFL) ?
    Pass Yards/Game 250.5 (7th NFL) ?
    Rush Yards/Game 90.6 (31st NFL) ?
Last Game Result Won 37–14 vs Cardinals Won 13–6 vs Steelers (from earlier preview context)
    Series All‑Time 56 wins 48 wins

This is actually a very underrated betting game as both teams have some interesting aspects.

Prediction:

  • First of all, it is looking like Browns coach Kevin Stefanski is toast whether he wins or loses.  I expect him fired on black monday.
  • Next, the Browns are in a pretty big let down spot as they may have spoiled the Steeler’s chances of making the playoffs.
  • Third, the Bengals are playing some great football right now and it looks like they will want to prove that they would be the top team in the AFC if it wasn’t for the injury to Joe Burrow.
  • Over the last five weeks, the Bengals are number 9 in offensive EPA and number 11th in defensive EPA.  The Browns are number 31 and 8th respectively.
  • Take Who dey today.

UCLA vs Iowa -6.5 O/U 138.5

🏀 UCLA vs. No. 25 Iowa — Game Preview

Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026 — 6 p.m. ET (Peacock)

🔥 What’s at Stake

Both teams enter on three‑game winning streaks, but the stakes are different:

  • Iowa (11–2, 1–1 Big Ten) is trying to validate its Top‑25 ranking and protect an 8–0 home record.

  • UCLA (10–3, 2–0 Big Ten) is looking for its first win over a ranked opponent in nearly a year and its first game in Iowa City since 1990.

This is also UCLA’s first Big Ten trip to Iowa as conference rivals.

📊 UCLA vs Iowa — Key Stats Breakdown

🟡 Iowa Hawkeyes (11–2, 1–1 Big Ten)

Advanced metrics & trends

  • Iowa has surged to 18th in KenPom after starting the season 48th.

  • Bart Torvik ranks them 17th, up 21 spots from preseason.

  • NET ranking: No. 12 entering the matchup.

  • Iowa has won its last three games by a combined 275–152 (average margin: +41).

Team stats

  • Home record: 8–0

  • ATS record: 10–3

  • Over/Under: 7–5–1

Player highlights

  • Iowa’s recent blowouts have been fueled by balanced scoring and elite efficiency (53%+ FG in recent games) — consistent with their season-long profile.

🔵 UCLA Bruins (10–3, 2–0 Big Ten)

Recent performance

  • Coming off a 97–65 win over UC Riverside.

  • Shot 50.0% FG (34/68) and 84.6% FT (22/26) in that game.

  • Forced 21 turnovers and grabbed 12 steals vs UC Riverside.

Team stats

  • Away record: 1–0

  • ATS: 5–7–1

  • Over/Under: 7–6

Efficiency snapshot (UC Riverside game)

  • Allowed just 42.6% FG on defense.

  • Won the rebounding battle 33–30.

🔥 Head‑to‑Head Context

Their last meeting (Jan 17, 2025):

  • UCLA 94, Iowa 70

  • UCLA shot 62.1% FG and led

📊 Team Profiles

🟡 Iowa Hawkeyes

  • Elite offense: Iowa shoots 53.3% from the field, one of the best marks in the country.

  • Home dominance: 8–0 at home this season.

  • Playmaker to watch:

    • Bennett Stirtz — 17.1 PPG, 5.2 APG, 1.8 SPG

  • Recent form: Three straight games scoring 90+ points.

Iowa’s Edge

Their ball movement (17.5 assists per game) and efficiency put constant pressure on defenses.

🔵 UCLA Bruins

  • Hot shooting: Second in the Big Ten at 39.8% from three.

  • Balanced scoring: Four players averaging double figures, led by

    • Tyler Bilodeau — 19.0 PPG, coming off a 34‑point explosion vs UC Riverside

  • Recent form: Three straight wins with 90+ points in each — their best scoring stretch since 2018.

UCLA’s Edge

Spacing and perimeter shooting. They average 8.1 made threes per game, more than Iowa typically allows (5.6).

🔮 Final Prediction:

  • This handicap is simple to me from a totals perspective.  Iowa was one of the fastest paced teams over the past 10 years under Fran McCaffery.   Since the Change to Ben McCollum from Drake, Iowa is the 9th slowest paced team ranking 356th for the 2025/2026.
  • UCLA isn’t exactly a speedy team themselves under Mick Cronin ranking 279th in Pace this year.
  • When conference play commences, power teams tend to slow it down due to the tougher matchups in conference play.  I think this total is much too high here.  Take the under.
